Mission

Are you a talented engineer who wants to use your mechanical skills to design tracks for the agricultural vehicles of the world's biggest OEMs? As a member of our development team, you'll be involved in the product creation process, from the initial idea to customer approval of parts. Generating new ideas and proposing innovative solutions will be at the heart of your daily work. You'll assume responsibilities commensurate with your expertise, while having the opportunity to grow with us and take on stimulating challenges that will take you further and further!


In this position, you will have the opportunity to :

  • Plan operations, operational control and document work instructions for projects you are responsible for putting into production
  • Act as the technical interface between engineers, quality and production for products under development
  • Participate in design reviews and provide ongoing input to simplify the manufacture and assembly of polymer part components
  • Prototype and manufacture products using a variety of production equipment at various stages of manufacture, and make recommendations on manufacturing methods. 
  • Document tests using experimental plans.
  • Design manufacturing processes for new products to optimize operations.

Profile

With the following skills and qualities, you'll be successful in this role:

  • 3-5 years' experience in a related field
  • Technical training in mechanical, industrial or materials engineering
  • Ability to read technical drawings
  • Analytical and methodical approach
  • Knowledge of an ERP manufacturing system
  • Ability to assess the effort required and deadlines in order to meet product start-up deadlines
  • Knowledge of geometric tolerances and lean manufacturing
  • Ability to solve various technical manufacturing problems
  • Understanding of the principles of polymer compression, injection and preparation is an asset.
