As a member of our development team, you’ll be deeply involved in the creation of new products through the research and selection of advanced materials.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead scientific research and experimental development projects
  • Prepare project quotations and technical proposals
  • Collaborate with other departments and divisions within the Group
  • Implement and develop samples, parts, and components
  • Conduct materials testing
  • Write reports and track project progress
  • Contribute to expanding the company’s knowledge base
  • Influence future product launches and market positioning
  • Monitor the use of hazardous materials and manage customer and supplier requirements to ensure compliance with various environmental standards

Profile

With the following skills and qualities, you will be successful in this role:

  • BACC in mechanical or chemical engineering with relevant experience
  • Member in good standing of the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ)
  • Knowledge of plastics or polymers a major asset
  • Very good mechanical sense, capacity for innovation and analysis
  • Team spirit, sense of initiative, rigor, autonomy and resourcefulness
  • Ability to manage several projects simultaneously within the required deadlines
