Mission

As a factory technician at Soucy, you will be at the heart of our performance, ensuring that every component delivered meets the highest industry standards. Your role will consist of validating, inspecting, and approving parts to ensure they meet our customers' requirements. In addition to coordinating and monitoring corrective and preventive actions, you will actively participate in the evolution of our quality process. Your expertise will be essential to maintaining and improving the quality of our products throughout the supply chain!


In this position, you will have the opportunity to :

  • Perform dimensional and geometric inspections using digital devices
  • Perform various types of analysis (chemical analysis, tensile testing, metallography, sand testing, visual inspection, etc.)
  • Provide production support to help resolve problems
  • Monitor various manufacturing processes and implement corrective action as needed
  • Perform any other tasks deemed relevant to effectively support the team

Profile

With the following skills and qualities, you will be successful in this role:

  • Relevant college education (metallurgy, chemistry, process engineering, mechanics, or other)
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong influencing and decision-making skills
  • Willingness to continuously improve knowledge
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Must be able to demonstrate a strong sense of responsibility and autonomy
  • Customer service orientation
