What does a fun internship look like?   

Want to discover the perfect balance between office work and fieldwork? At Soucy, that's exactly what we offer! As a process intern, you will be an integral part of the team that supports our operations. You will learn our manufacturing and assembly methods, participate in process optimization, and contribute directly to the quality and efficiency of production. This is a hands-on, dynamic, and educational internship where your observation skills, curiosity, and analytical mind will make all the difference!


During this internship, you will have the opportunity to: 


Learn and contribute to problem solving


  • Participate in the diagnosis of quality, performance, or process stability issues (compression molding, extrusion, gluing)
  • Assist the team in analyzing causes and documenting findings
  • Propose or help implement simple corrective actions

Discover production

  • Support the team during testing, start-ups, or process changes
  • Contribute to adjustments or validations under supervision
  • Support process optimization
  • Collect and analyze production data
  • Participate in documenting critical process parameters (temperature, pressure, cycle time, gluing methods)
  • Observe and suggest areas for continuous improvement

Collaborate with our various teams

  • Work alongside the engineering, quality, production, and maintenance teams
  • Contribute to the validation of equipment or tools (presses, automated cells, gluing equipment)

Participate in field initiatives

  • Support the team in improvement or redesign projects
  • Support the updating of standards or work instructions
  • Observe and understand health and safety risk analyses

Profile

With the following skills and qualities, you will be successful:

  • Student (DEC or BAC): mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, plastics engineering, or related field
  • Curious, observant, and motivated to learn in a manufacturing environment
  • Comfortable in a production environment and with industrial equipment
  • Organized, thorough, and committed to documenting your work
  • Able to collaborate easily with different teams and communicate clearly
  • Interest or knowledge in plastics engineering, molding, extrusion, adhesion or gluing processes
  • Experience (internship or job) in a manufacturing environment

Ready to join us? We are waiting for you for an internship that will run from May 4 to August 14, 2026. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, and you will enjoy flexible hours!
