Mission

Do you enjoy building, assembling, and improving equipment? Are you known for your practical skills and ability to find solutions? We are looking for a tooling prototyper to support new product development and the improvement of our manufacturing processes.


Working with the manufacturing engineering, production, and quality teams, you will contribute to the design, fabrication, and optimization of jigs and tooling used in our operations.


In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Assemble, fabricate, and modify jigs and tooling for production
  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to existing tooling
  • Operate various machine tools such as drills, saws, and welders
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by optimizing tooling to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency
  • Review drawings and 3D models and track specific technical information using computer tools

Profile

With the following skills and qualities, you will thrive in this role:

  • DEP in welding, mechanical manufacturing, or a related field
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong ability to read blueprints and knowledge of manufacturing, machining, welding, and assembly processes
  • Proficiency in using the computer tools required for the position and in reviewing 3D models
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Independence, resourcefulness, and a collaborative spirit
