Responsibilities that match your expertise!
Mission
Do you want to make a tangible contribution to improving operations, work on the front lines, and see the direct impact of your ideas in production? This role will allow you to participate in a variety of projects in industrial engineering, continuous improvement, and work method optimization, in a manufacturing environment where collaboration and innovation are top priorities.
In this position, you’ll have the opportunity to:
- Take part in bringing new products to production by working directly with the production, quality, maintenance, and engineering teams
- Go out on the shop floor to observe operations, conduct time studies, analyze capacity, and collect the data needed to identify bottlenecks and the best opportunities for improvement
- Design and implement more efficient workstations, production cells, and manufacturing flows, taking into account ergonomics, health and safety, quality, costs, and deadlines
- Analyze and map production processes, particularly using tools such as VSM, to highlight value-added activities and reduce sources of waste
- Contribute to concrete continuous improvement projects by applying the principles of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, problem-solving, and standardization of work methods
- Clearly document methods, standards, analyses, and recommendations to ensure the continuity and sustainability of the solutions implemented
- Monitor performance metrics related to productivity, capacity, costs, lead times, quality, and health and safety, then propose actions to improve results
- Collaborate with operational teams to facilitate buy-in for changes, resolve problems sustainably, and improve overall performance
