Mission

At Soucy, we believe in the impact a great internship experience can have on the start of a career. That’s why, every year, we open our doors to dozens of interns across all fields so they can venture into the working world with us and explore their potential.

Our team is made up of curious minds and creative thinkers who are always pushing boundaries, and we need an intern who can bring a new dimension to our already amazing world.

Benefits designed to take you far!

  • Competitive pay (you can pay off your student loans or fund your next trip—the choice is yours!)
  • “My Flexibility” program (That’s right—you can finish at noon on Fridays to enjoy your favorite activities)
  • Real projects tailored to your strengths and interests (We want your internship to live up to YOUR expectations!)
  • Social activities (Yes, we like to have fun here, too!)

What does a fun internship look like?

Are you looking for a hands-on internship that will let you turn ideas into drawings, see your concepts come to life, and participate in every stage of product development? This internship is for you!

During this internship, you’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Help create manufacturing and assembly drawings (2D/3D) under supervision
  • Model simple mechanical parts and subassemblies using CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor, or equivalent)
  • Help update drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), and technical data sheets
  • Perform basic sizing calculations and tolerance checks with support from the technical team
  • Help draft and update procedures and technical data sheets
  • Prepare reports and technical notes on completed tasks
  • Assist the team during the manufacturing, assembly, or installation of prototypes
  • Participate in functional and performance tests on equipment and components
  • Document observations and help identify nonconformities

Profile

With the following skills and qualities, you’ll be successful:

  • Currently enrolled in a Mechanical Engineering Technology (DEC) or Mechanical Engineering (BAC) program
  • Have completed at least one or two semesters of the program
  • Good understanding of technical drawing principles and manufacturing processes
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
  • Good oral and written French; functional English
  • Basic knowledge of CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor, or equivalent) (a plus)

Ready to join us? We’re looking forward to having you for an internship running from January 5 to April 16, 2027. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week, and you’ll enjoy flexible hours!

We’d love to learn more about you!
