In this position, you will have the opportunity to:

• Lead client projects, from formulation to the optimization of plastic blends
• Develop and optimize formulations tailored to client needs
• Serve as a technical expert in polymers and support sales teams in product development and problem-solving
• Identify opportunities for improvement and innovation with clients
• Research new raw materials and technical solutions in collaboration with suppliers and the purchasing department
• Serve as the technical liaison between customers and internal teams
• Support production and quality teams in troubleshooting, addressing nonconformities, and monitoring test results
• Actively participate in continuous improvement projects

With the following skills and qualities, you'll be successful in this role:

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or polymer science
• 10 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience in the plastics industry (formulation, processing, extrusion, injection, etc.)
• Autonomy, rigor, and ability to manage projects comprehensively
• Analytical mind and ability to make decisions quickly
• Attention to detail and sense of innovation
• Scientific curiosity, ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies or materials
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and communicate effectively
• Bilingualism (French and English) in order to communicate with our partners; Spanish is an asset
