Mission

WHAT TO EXPECT  

Do you want to be part of key development projects and think outside the box? We need your expertise as a designer to contribute to the company's success and develop tracked assemblies that perform better and are more innovative at the same time. You'll be part of a product development team committed to innovation, technology and customer satisfaction. 


Here's an overview of your responsibilities:


  • Design and model rubber tracked assemblies and components required to fit products to vehicles
  • Design and model various test benches and monitor their manufacture
  • Create installation tools and accessories adapted to the product
  • Produce manufacturing drawings
  • Participate in customer meetings with the technical team
  • Provide technical support to multidisciplinary product development teams
  • Contribute to the definition of the technological plan by contributing innovative ideas for the development of new technologies
  • Participate in project feasibility studies and activity planning
  • Support production during the manufacturing of prototypes or production start-up
  • Launch and follow up machined parts while providing technical support to the supplier


Profile

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR  

  • DEC in Mechanical Engineering with a design/manufacturing option or DEP in industrial drafting
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in drafting and/or designing complex mechanical systems, ideally in the transportation, snowmobile and/or heavy vehicle industry
  • Knowledge of mechanics, machining and design of castings
  • Proficiency in CAD software (Solid Edge an asset)
  • Excellent analytical skills and autonomous
  • Innovative spirit and willingness to think outside the box
  • Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
  • Experience with motorized vehicles (an asset)
  • Intermediate English for communicating with English-speaking customers (an asset)
