In this position, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Comply with safety rules, factory regulations, and established work procedures
  • Adjust/tune equipment or tools when reported by an operator or team leader
  • Maintain and repair tools and certain equipment
  • Analyze and correct various mechanical, electrical, and electronic problems related to equipment
  • Install and maintain digital or electronic equipment and controls in accordance with manufacturer's plans and manuals
  • Calibrate the various control instruments used in production operations
  • Ensure the cleanliness of the premises
  • Perform any other tasks requested by your immediate supervisor

Profile

With the following skills and qualities, you will be successful in this role:

  • DEC in electromechanics OR DEP in electromechanics
  • Available to work a 3x 12-hour day or night shift schedule
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in electromechanics
  • Proficient in reading plans and programmable logic controllers
  • Advanced knowledge of hydraulics
  • Proficiency in the mechanical, electronic, electrical, and pneumatic aspects of manufacturing processes
  • Knowledge of instrumentation and controls
  • Knowledge of metrology
