Mission

As a Quality Assurance Specialist at Soucy, you will be at the heart of our performance, ensuring that every component delivered by our suppliers meets the highest industry standards. Your role will consist of validating, inspecting, and approving parts to ensure they comply with our customers' requirements. In addition to coordinating and monitoring corrective and preventive actions, you will actively participate in the evolution of our quality system, ensuring that every problem finds a lasting solution. Your expertise will be essential to maintaining and improving the quality of our products throughout the supply chain!


In this position, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Three-dimensional control specialist (CMM)
  • Perform checks, inspections, and qualification reports on items in development or in AMC
  • Document quality control methods and communicate them to all stakeholders
  • Plan activities and write Measurement System Performance reports
  • Perform controls, inspections, and approvals of finished products in Development or AMC
  • Master the concepts of compliant vs. non-compliant products by managing records, identifications, and inventories in an MRP environment
  • Perform analyses of production results, e.g., process statistics
  • Report identified problems and non-conformities to managers and staff to help them find the source and correct them permanently
  • Participate in laboratory control team activities
  • Collaborate with Methods agents on activities for continuous improvement of product quality

Profile

With the following skills and qualities, you will be successful in this role:

  • DEC in Mechanical Engineering and work experience an asset
  • Eligible for the Controlled Goods Program
  • CMM programming and operation
  • Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical documents to identify customer quality requirements
  • Ability to use measurement, control, and testing instruments and equipment
  • Good ability to measure, analyze, decide, document, and communicate the results of inspections and tests performed
  • Skills in methods and continuous improvement are desirable
  • Functional knowledge of English to fully understand customer requirements
