Mission

As a manufacturing engineering technician, you'll have the opportunity to learn more and more about our various manufacturing and assembly methods, in order to meet our customers' highest quality standards. Your main role? Maintain and improve production start-up practices for new products - a stimulating challenge worthy of your expertise!

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Support production in adjusting and commissioning thermoforming and router processes.
  • Actively participate in the introduction of new products.
  • Implement safe working methods based on industry best practices.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects (PVA, SMED, 5S, Kaizen, etc.).
  • Analyze and optimize processes to improve productivity and reduce waste
  • Participate in risk analyses of equipment and workstations
  • Work closely with production, planning, engineering, and other teams

Profile

With the following skills and qualities, you'll thrive in this role: 


  • You have a college diploma in mechanical engineering, plastics engineering or equivalent experience.
  • You have 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar position


And these assets will strengthen your impact:

  • Experience in plastics processing.
  • Experience in thermoforming.
  • Knowledge of CNC routers.
  • Knowledge of Fusion 360, SolidEdge, Rhino 7.
