In this position, you will have the opportunity to:
Strategic purchasing management
- Propose improvements to the current purchasing system that will sustainably improve supplier relationships and system efficiency and reduce the organization's operating costs
- Participate in strategic purchasing decisions and supply market risk management. Establish contingency plans for our main supply risks and issues
Supplier negotiation and management
- Seek out, qualify, and develop new suppliers
- Negotiate commercial agreements, including prices, payment terms, deadlines, volumes, and contractual terms
- Proactively manage supplier relationships and establish long-term partnerships
- Implement action plans for suppliers who do not meet quality and delivery expectations
Operational procurement
- Order parts, goods, and other products necessary for production at the best prices and purchasing conditions
- Collaborate with production planners to ensure the availability of parts when creating and launching manufacturing orders
- Ensure rigorous and high-quality follow-up with suppliers, chase up delivery delays, and anticipate problems
- Provide sales support for customer bids by supplying reliable data on costs, market trends, and riskso Ensure compliance with ISO quality standards and procedures

Profile

- Bachelor's degree or college diploma in administration, mechanical engineering, or equivalent training
- Minimum of 2 years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing or MRO environment
- Bilingualism, both spoken and written
- Knowledge of Windows
- Knowledge of ERP software
