In this position, you will have the opportunity to:
- Coordinate and supervise a team of two (2) team leaders and approximately twenty-five (25) unionized employees, primarily for receiving, shelving, picking, packing, and shipping tasks.
- Participate in resolving problems related to warehousing and orders (inventory discrepancies, product relocation, searching for misplaced products, order issues, etc.)
- Propose innovative improvements by offering advice, support, and training to your team in order to increase operational efficiency and performance and reduce work-related risks
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, company regulations, procedures, and the collective agreement
- Produce various reports for performance monitoring, evaluation, workplace accident management, labor relations management, and absenteeism management
- Participate in budget development and monitoring
Profile
With the following skills and qualities, you will be successful in this role:
- BAC in operations management, administration or related field (experience or training deemed equivalent will be considered)
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing management practices
- 5 years' experience in distribution and supervising staff
- Knowledge of Office Suite: Outlook, Excel, Word
- Excellent French and functional English.
