Mission

Are you a talented designer looking to put your mechanical engineering knowledge to work designing equipment that’s one-of-a-kind? As a member of our team, you’ll be pushed to push the boundaries of engineering and technology to design truly extraordinary equipment by generating new ideas and proposing innovative solutions. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Design, model in 3D, and draft complex parts, mechanisms, and production equipment, while complying with occupational health and safety standards
  • Participate in the equipment development process and follow each stage through to completion
  • Conduct conceptual feasibility studies
  • Gather client requirements, ensure regular follow-ups, and validate client satisfaction
  • Perform various calculations (tolerance stacks required for assemblies and system functionality, material resistance, etc.)
  • Take part in design reviews with the project team and contribute innovative solutions and ideas
  • Launch the manufacturing process and oversee the progress of the equipment
  • Develop instruction manuals for new equipment
  • Provide technical support during the assembly of various designs

Profile

With the following skills and qualities, you'll thrive in this role:

  • Technical diploma or bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, or equivalent training

  • Knowledge of mechanics, machining, and mechanical component design

  • Experience in 3D modeling of parts and complex assemblies

  • Proficiency with 3D design software

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to innovate and think creatively

  • Openness to feedback and constructive criticism

  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills
