Mission

We’re looking for a mechanical engineering technician to manage several large-scale projects, ensuring that our industries meet the highest quality standards. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Analyze requirements and conduct the technical studies necessary to carry out projects
- Conceive and develop mechanical concepts, then validate them through research, calculations, and technical analyses
- Design and model mechanical solutions using design and drafting software
- Manage engineering projects from requirements analysis through procurement, manufacturing, and installation to production launch
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project progress
- Provide technical support to teams and contribute to the continuous improvement of equipment and processes
- Diagnose equipment failures, investigate their root causes, and propose sustainable solutions
- Ensure compliance with health and safety, quality, and environmental requirements throughout project execution

Profile
With the following skills and qualities, you will thrive in this role:
- DEC in Mechanical Engineering with more than 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering in a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Knowledge of and experience with machine safety
- Ability to take charge of entire projects and ensure their follow-through
- Ability to clearly explain technical concepts to employees
- Ability to speak and read French (5/5)
- Knowledge of the MS Office suite
