Turns complex mechanical challenges into practical solutions.

Mission

Do you thrive on mechanical challenges that require more than a ready-made solution? In this role, you’ll work on mechanical products and systems that require you to analyze, test, and challenge existing concepts to find the best balance between performance, robustness, and manufacturability.

As a product development engineer, you’ll serve as the technical lead for your projects. You’ll guide their progression from concept through validation, working closely with designers, project managers, and the testing and manufacturing teams. Your role won’t be limited to design—you’ll need to understand the challenges, challenge proposed solutions, and guide technical decisions.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Define product technical requirements by considering customer needs, applicable standards, and manufacturing realities
  • Refine concepts into a robust and manufacturable solution by analyzing technical challenges and finding the right balance between performance, cost, and manufacturing
  • Guide designers in developing solutions, challenge proposed concepts, and take a stance on technical choices that will move the project forward
  • Serve as a technical point of reference for the customer and steer discussions when technical decisions need to be made
  • Lead design reviews and risk analyses to ensure the soundness of technical choices and the robustness of the product
  • Collaborate with the testing, manufacturing, quality, and procurement teams to validate performance and deliver a reliable solution

Join us and turn ambitious technical challenges into concrete solutions.
