In this role, you will:

Handle a significant portion of Fleuriste Bergeron’s accounting activities, including:

• Entering data and processing accounts payable and receivable
• Reconciling bank statements, general ledger accounts, and credit card statements
• Posting journal entries related to account tracking
• Managing the entire accounting cycle
• Completing month-end tasks
• Scanning supplier invoices
• Matching various documents related to the accounts payable process

With the following skills and qualities, you’ll thrive in this role:

• Degree in accounting
• 10 years of experience in a similar role
• Excellent proficiency with computer tools (Excel) and accounting software
• Diligence, organizational skills, and attention to detail
• Analytical mindset and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Knowledge of taxes (GST/QST)

• Experience with Odoo (a major plus)
• Experience in a multi-departmental environment
• Knowledge of human resources
• Experience working with foreign workers
• Knowledge of the agri-food industry
